INTERVIEWS WITH FORMER BSI EMPLOYEES
Property of PD Chief Frank Davis
Between 1975 and 1977, I compiled a series of interviews with several former employees of Bunny Smiles Incorporated (which went out of business in 1983) in order to draw conclusions about the company's history and to potentially close the case of the BSI Killer. Although most of the answers to the questions were superficial, it is clear that something within one of the company's facilities was different.

INTERVIEWER: How was your first day on the job at the facility?.

AMMY: I think I did really well on that first day! To be honest, the Technical Support inspection saved me a lot of time—there wasn’t anything damaged on the Showstoppers! So I could just relax, watch TV, and read magazines, and that’s exactly what I did! [Laughs] But, it’s a good idea to call someone who actually knows plumbing. The place stinks BADLY; I’m sure some toilet has been clogged for years or something.

INTERVIEWER: Is it easy to perform maintenance on the system?

CAUÃ: - I honestly thought so! The Cyberfun Interactive program was really helpful in the process... If it weren’t for it, I wouldn’t even have known what to do in the situation I was in! Like, uh, Sha had all her joints relaxed, and could barely stand up! So I identified the points in the program and that was it! A few screws and she was back on her feet in no time! I just thought it was a little weird to see some dried reddish liquid on the inside of her... Must be rusty! They’ve been there for three years now and maybe I should give them a good cleaning, I don’t know, heh.

INTERVIEWER: Do you think it’s possible to restore the animatronics?

OLIVIA: -I think so, but I’m not sure. Because, you see, the robots are from ’74—that’s four years of inactivity, even with the regular care we Facility Caretakers provide them. I can say for a bunch of other people, they’ve changed a lot since their glory days, especially Bon. Take one good look at his face and it is extremely different than how it used to be; same can be said for the other Showstoppers. When it comes to restoring them, you’d need professionals in the field who are truly capable of handling Cyberfun Tech’s technology with great mastery—something I’m not capable of.

INTERVIEWER: What do you think of the working conditions that BSI offers you Caretakers?

█████: - I think that, like any company, Bunny Smiles has its flaws, but BSI has actually managed to surpass any shortcomings of any other company I’ve ever worked for. For example, they don’t seem to care about their own employees! It also seems like they don’t see us as human beings, but rather as machines—just like those stupid robots. - For example, do you remember the case where BSI was sued for emotional distress and negligence because a young employee working there just started hallucinating? He even called the BSI Home Offices using the BSI Hotline to see if they could get him out of there, and guess what? They did nothing, so he had to run away, and he was even fined. - And he wasn’t the only one who felt that way. When I went to work on the 7 a.m. shift, I started hearing some really annoying noises, like footsteps, whistling… oh, and don’t forget that damn doll they have there, which just starts singing out of nowhere and is really uncomfortable—anyway, it wasn’t a good vibe. I even asked someone from BSI Home Offices to help me, but as always, they ignored my situation, saying things like, “Oh, you know how the boss is and how he likes to work...”, etc. Anyway, in the end, I actually had an accident during the setup: I was repairing Sha, and when I went to inspect her torso, my hand got stuck and the torso accidentally moved on top of it, breaking my hand. Then they had to get me out of there, and they didn’t even cover the full medical bill; instead, they tried to silence me with a $200 bonus on my paycheck. - In the end, I quit BSI, and I’m very happy working with Starley’s now.

INTERVIEWER: Have you ever seen anything in the facility?

Matias: - Yes, YES! I swear to GOD I saw something in there! I got to the facility, opened the door, and I just saw something shut the door leading to the Maintenance Area! I’m not really sure what it looked like, but I THINK it was actually Bon, their mascot??? I was really scared, really scared to go in there, and I ended up not finishing my shift. Obviously, I got a fine and got fired, but I WASN’T GOING TO RISK GOING IN THERE… THERE'S SOMETHING OR SOMEONE IN THAT FACILITY, I SWEAR!
